We’re thrilled to announce that the Quantum community at Alamein International University has participated in the UNESCO Quantum City Prize competition as part of the 2025 year global events for quantum science and technology, and won: -🥇 First Africa -🥈 Second Worldwide It was a true honor for our community to witness our work being showcased on stage at the IYQ Closing Ceremony in Accra, Ghana (10–11 Feb 2026), marking the end of an incredible journey, and what we believe is only the beginning. We worked hard to simplify complex scientific concepts and make them accessible and meaningful for everyone. Our goal has always been to break down barriers to science and bring it closer to people in ways that inspire curiosity and understanding. Thank you for believing in us ❤️

Quantum Outreach Event — Bringing Science to Life Dates: 28–29 August The Quantum Outreach Event transformed complex quantum science into an exciting and accessible public experience. Through interactive interviews, educational games, and hands-on activities, visitors explored the fascinating world of quantum technology in a fun and engaging way. Hosted across New Alamein Heritage City and the Tourist Promenade, the event featured themed learning stations on Superposition, Entanglement, and Quantum Tunneling, turning abstract ideas into real-world understanding. Participants enjoyed creative experiences such as QGame and QCards, making learning playful and memorable, while a vibrant Photo Zone invited everyone to capture and share their “Hello from the Future” moments. Pre-event street interviews sparked curiosity, and on-site sessions connected participants with global networks including QAIU, QEgypt, and QWorld. This initiative successfully bridged science and society, making quantum ideas approachable, inspiring young learners, and positioning New Alamein as a growing hub for innovation and public science engagement.
