We’re thrilled to announce that the Quantum community at Alamein International University has participated in the UNESCO Quantum City Prize competition as part of the 2025 year global events for quantum science and technology, and won:

-🥇 First Africa -🥈 Second Worldwide

It was a true honor for our community to witness our work being showcased on stage at the IYQ Closing Ceremony in Accra, Ghana (10–11 Feb 2026), marking the end of an incredible journey, and what we believe is only the beginning. We worked hard to simplify complex scientific concepts and make them accessible and meaningful for everyone. Our goal has always been to break down barriers to science and bring it closer to people in ways that inspire curiosity and understanding.
